Josh Gowling has said that he is continuing to look for a striker but is unlikely to have brought one in before tomorrow's game at Boston.
The Hereford manager selected Miles Storey to lead the attack at Alfreton last Saturday and he came up with two of Hereford's three goals.
"You always want to have options," Gowling told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Obviously we've got Victor Sodeinde who has got to get fit.
"That's one of the big things he needs to do is work on his fitness levels.
"Obviously we've got Ryan Mclean who has bags of energy, bags of pace.
"But a natural number nine you want to look at as well.
"We're looking at it, we'll keep our options open, we're speaking to people and we'll wait to see if it fits in with what we can do."
