Hereford FC Under 18's are through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup after knocking out Stratford Town at Edgar Street last night.
Playing towards the Blackfriars End, the Young Bulls started brightly, winning their first corner on six minutes. But the ball was easily cleared.
Just two minutes later Hereford took the lead. A good through ball found Sean Yalland who prodded it through the Stratford keeper Cullum Monagham's legs.
From then on in the half Stratford probably had more of the possession and Hereford keeper Ewen Hooper was forced into making a great save from a fierce shot.

Just on half-time Hereford might have added a second goal but Wood's header went wide.
Early in the second half Stratford might have equalised when Hereford keeper Hooper appeared to be caught out off his line.
On 55 minutes Hereford doubled their lead. An initial effort wasn't dealt with and Yalland was on hand to take the ball around the keeper and slot it home.
Two minutes later the home side struck again, this time from a corner, substitute Morgan Evans scrambling the ball in.
Hereford had two goals disallowed before scoring their fourth.

On 74 minutes an excellent cross by Evans was met by Chris Hilton who made no mistake and planted the ball into the back of the net.
