Dunstable Town's manager Tony McCool is staying realistic when it comes to his side's chances of taking points off Hereford on Saturday, despite beating Weymouth last month.
The former Luton Town coach said that his side are in need of points to survive, but Hereford's away support won't phase them.
"It has no effect on us. Good luck to them, they're a terrific club with terrific supporters - we play in front of 70-100 fans. The good thing is it's a learning curve for our lads, when we went to Edgar Street I think the attendance was 1600 or 1700 and it didn't phase them.
"We won't get too hung up on how many fans are there, that's no disrespect to Hereford, but we just need to find some points to try and survive."
Last night Dunstable lost 3-1 at Merthyr, which saw the Blues take the lead thanks to Ethan Lamptey's goal in the 19th minute.
When asked if the win over Weymouth gave his side some confidence going into Saturday's game, McCool said: "Of course it does, but we've got to be realistic.
"Even coming here [Merthyr], we've brought three subs with us. It's a long way from home and none of our players have been paid. Even the fact we're at home gives us a better chance. Some of our players are local which means we have a better pool of players to choose from.
"The lads will give it a go, as always. We've got some good players. We've had a few difficulties with the squad because of injuries. If we can field a strong team, with a goalkeeper that can play in goal, a striker who can play up top and some not bad players in the middle then we've got half a chance.
"It's whether we have that full selection, but we respect Hereford. They're obviously a great outfit and were very good when played them [at Edgar Street]. As most teams that play us know, we'll give it a good go. We won't give in, we have a game plan and we'll see where it takes us."
