Harry Franklin playing for Hereford's youth team |
Harry Franklin, who's on loan from Hereford to Merthyr Town, has said he's enjoying his time at Penydarren Park and wanted to prove himself.
After last night's 3-1 win over Dunstable, BN asked him how he was finding his time at the club.
"Yeah I've been finding it good," said the 19-year old, who played at left-back.
"It's been good really, really enjoyed it so far and I've been playing which is the main thing. This season I just wanted to get some minutes and prove that I can play at a decent standard."
Franklin played the majority of last night's game against Dunstable. The Martyrs fought back from a goal down to claim three points against struggling side Dunstable.
"In the first half I don't think we were ready or up for it properly. When we went 1-0 down it gave us an incentive to win the game, but our reaction in the second half was good.
"To score three goals and win the game, which we should've won anyway, it's good."
The loan deal is until the end of the season.
