Tonight In The Southern Premier League

There are five fixtures in the Southern Premier League this evening and there's no doubt which of them is the outstanding fixture.

King's Lynn (2nd) play Hereford (3rd) at The Walks. This is the first time a Hereford club has played at King's Lynn since 1971 and that was in the FA Cup.

The Linnets have an excellent home record this season. In fourteen league games they have been defeated just once. That was back in November when they lost by the only goal in the game to Chesham.  In the remainder they've won ten and drawn three of their home games.

However The Bulls are undefeated on their travels in the Southern Prem this season. Out of thirteen away games they've won nine and drawn four, the last being a 2-2 draw at Slough.

The form book suggests a draw which would probably suit Hereford more than King's Lynn.

The bookies tend to agree as they can't decide who might win the game.

King's Lynn 53/35  Draw 14/5  Hereford 6/4

Of the other promotion contenders Slough (5th) should easily overcome Kings Langley (21st), and Chesham (6th) likewise against St Ives (22nd).

However Tiverton (7th) have a tough looking game against Frome (9th) and Weymouth (4th) might drop points at Royston (8th) who have an excellent home record.

Chesham United v St Ives Town
King's Lynn Town v Hereford
Royston Town v Weymouth
Slough Town v Kings Langley
Tiverton Town v Frome Town
