Jon Taylor, who managed Hereford United in the season it was wound up, is one of a small local group about to take over Bedford Town.
After leaving Hereford Taylor was appointed manager of Bedford in October 2015. Now he is to become one of the owners but will continue as manager.
Previously he had played for the club.
