Youth Academy Launch Meetings On January 3rd

Hereford FC are to hold two launch meetings for their new youth academy on January 3rd.

Ths from Hereford FC:

Hereford FC Chairman, Ken Kinnersley, has today confirmed the club will be holding two meetings in the Hereford Suite at Edgar Street to detail plans for the launch of its new Youth Academy.

The meetings will take place on Wednesday 3 January 2018, with players and their families from the current United in the Community (UITC) Under 12 to Under 14 squads invited to attend the first meeting from 6pm till 7.30pm, followed by another meeting for the Under 15 to Under 18 squads from 8pm till 9.30pm.

Speaking about the meetings, the Bulls Chairman said:

‘We are looking forward to these meetings and to sharing our plans with the players and family members who attend. Every member of the current Under 12 to Under 18 squads is invited, and it is vitally important that family members come too.

‘We expect this to be a very busy evening so we would ask that no more than two family members accompany any player, just so we can ensure the room is not too crowded.

‘At the meetings we will be giving a presentation outlining our plans for the future and registering all the players who wish to sign on with us. Each player will be given our new Academy handbook on signing their forms and a huge amount of work has gone into producing this detailed document.

‘We sincerely hope that all the current players are keen to continue in their squads under the banner of Hereford FC and hope that they will be very excited by our plans.

‘I am pleased to confirm that first team manager, Pete Beadle, will be coming to the meetings and we will also be represented by a number of Directors and some of the coaches who have already come on board here at Edgar Street.

‘Finally, can I ask that the date and time of these meetings are circulated as widely as possible by supporters so everyone involved in the current UITC squads is aware they are taking place. We do not want to miss anyone out, but currently do not have definitive squad lists to take contact details from and get in touch directly with players.’
