Several Hereford supporters who couldn't be at Kettering last night watched the game on Poppies TV. It cost them £8.
This afternoon BN spoke to Richard Atkinson who helps with the 'station'.
"This is only the 3rd full
season we've been doing it - but we currently have a strong group of
volunteers who bring various different skills," said Atkinson
"We're learning all the
time, and hopefully getting better at it.
"We're also pretty much self
funding. The club helped with initial set up etc, but if we need new
equipment etc we have to find the money ourselves.
"We recently ran a
crowdfunding campaign to raise money for new equipment, and to digitise
some old KTFC match footage that we've been given on video tapes.
"We had about 150 viewers last
night, which is easily 3 or 4 times our regular number. The service is
free to our season ticket holders, but pay per view for anyone else. We
do audio coverage of away matches, which is free for everyone."
