Despite their recent financial problems, Merthyr appear to be rebuilding their squad.
Yesterday it was announced that Harry Franklin had joined them on loan from Hereford and today it's been revealed that former goalkeeper Ollie Davies has returned.
"It's great Olly has agreed to help us out with the problems that we
have," said manager Gavin Williams.
"After Cam's (Clarke) injury Ed (Hewitson) came in and did great to be fair, making
one very good save in a one on one against a striker who scored 5 goals
on Saturday.
"But unfortunately Ed had to come off. I did not think our
luck could get any worse but I was wrong."
Davies joined Hereford for a couple of weeks pre-season before quitting and trialling with Bath.
He becomes Merthyr's fifth goalkeeper in three games.
