After four home games, Hereford's average home attendance stands at 2,610 - around 1,800 more than second-placed King's Lynn Town.
In comparison, last season's average was 2,821.
Despite this, last night's attendance of 2,005 was the Bulls' lowest ever crowd for a league game. But with wet and windy weather, as well as the Champions League on TV, it was a good turn out for a step three game.
The previous lowest was 2,006 against Lye Town in 2015.
On that September evening, Lye scored one of the most memorable goals at Edgar Street in recent years.
Near neighbours Redditch United lie near the foot of the table, with an average of 226. Hereford are set to visit the TRICO Stadium on Easter Monday.
