Pegasus Juniors U18's 1-7 Hereford U18's

Hereford U18's beat Pegasus Juniors U18's 7-1 this evening at Old School Lane in the Midland Floodlight League.

Hereford took the lead around 15 minutes into the match when a mix up between the Peggy keeper and defender saw the ball hit the post and into Sam Oxley's path who finished despite the efforts of a Pegasus player inside the goal. A few minutes later Harry Hurst got his head to a cross to double the lead. Around 30 minutes in Matt Macdonald extended Hereford's lead with a good finish.

Hereford U18's started the second half where they left of and within minutes of the restart Macdonald scored his second of the evening. Substitute Charlie Meek extended the Hereford lead further when he added the fifth five minutes later. Hereford continued to dominate and a few minutes later Greg Preece added the sixth goal. 

Pegasus did manage to get a goal back with around 20 minutes to go but Hereford continued to push and were reward a late penalty in injury time which was put away by Meek to finish the match off 7-1. Next up for Hereford is the FA youth cup when they host Malvern Town at Leominster Town on Monday 5th September at 7:45pm.
