UITC chairman Nick Vaughan has backed Hereford FC Chairman Jon Hale in his efforts to secure a longer lease for the Edgar Street ground.
Nick Vaughan said: "I would like to take
the opportunity of fully endorsing the club's call for a longer lease. It is
vital for future progression that this is achieved.
"I just ask that as any plans are drawn up that consideration can be given to UITC's requirement for some small office space. To date I have been told there is no room for our full time staff to be located at the football club but hopefully this will change if they can secure a longer agreement.
"Our future at the Blackfriars Street office is not a long term one, with the council seeking future development but our staff have worked hard to make some improvements so it is suitable for immediate needs. We continue to look at alternative options for Victoria Park too"
