James Joins Macclesfield

Kingsley James has joined Macclesfield. He was recently released by Halifax.

The former Hereford United midfielder has signed a one year deal with the Silkmen.

A former Sheffield United youth team captain, James switched to Port Vale in summer 2011. He was loaned out to Chasetown in October 2011. He joined Hereford United on loan in January 2013 before a switch  to Hereford on a permanent basis in the summer of 2013.

James stayed with the Bulls until May 2014 helping them to keep their place in the Conference before the arrival of 'owner' Tommy Agombar took them down to the Southern League.

An impressive spell with Chester would follow James' time at Hereford and in the summer of 2015 the midfielders performances saw him attract the interest of Halifax and James would move back to his native Yorkshire.
