New Derby County Manager Played For Hereford United

The recently appointed caretaker manager of Derby County, Darren Wassall, spent a short spell on loan with Hereford United in 1987.

Wassall has taken charge after the sacking of Paul Clement.

As a youngster he started his career at Nottingham Forest and signed terms as a senior in 1986.

In 1987 he was loaned to Hereford United where he made five league appearances starting with a game at Stockport County which Hereford won 2-0.
