Really Pleased With Performance Said Beadle

After this afternoon's 4-1 win at Coleshill, Hereford FC Peter Beadle spoke to the press.

"Really pleased, it was a really good performance," said Beadle.

"We had spoken about the 3G pitch here and it certainly is condusive to the way we want to play.

"It's fast, it's slick and I think the boys throughly enjoyed playing on it.

"I thought some of our play today was excellent.

"We train on this surface anyway so we knew what we were coming to.

"Obviously they do vary a little bit but not a huge amount.

"So when we trained this week, we trained on 3G knowing that this would be the sort of surface we would be coming to and on this pitch as you'll have seen today if your pass is maybe half a yard not on the mark it causes a problem because of trying to adjust your feet and the surface is so fast.

"It suits so because of the players we've got and the way we play, the faster the surface the better.

"The players were ready for it and looking forward to it.

"Most of the group here now were part of the first game when we played them at home, and although we played well the result wasn't great.

"So it was important that we set a marker down to make amends for the last game and also continue this run."

Joel Edwards and Ryan Green were substituted because of injuries.

Ryan Green

"Ryan was more a precaution, he just felt his hamstring a little bit but nothing too serious.

Joel Edwards Was Tackled
And When He Got Up It Appeared He Had Hurt His Left Shoulder
"Joel, we'll see how he is over the next 48 hours. It's a shoulder or jarring injury, landing again. That's the downside of playing on this pitch is that they are quite firm underneath. He's just jarred his shoulder a little bit so hopefully in 48 or 72 hours it will calm down and the movement will start to come back and he should be fine."

Three other players were missing from the squad.

"Adam Page is injured. He's got this foot injury at the moment which is persistent. Cheltenham are looking after him.

"Pablo Haysham is ill so he could not be here.

"Nathan Hughes he's away at a funeral. Family reasons which are more important than football.

"It's the way things happen but we've come and again we've shown the depth of the squad we've got. Those three are missing but we've still got Max, Dylan, Tony, Sirdic and Carlos all waiting to come on, all quality players which just shows the depth we've got."
