Hereford FC assistant manager Matt Bishop spoke to BN after tonight's game.
"Typical derby, both teams were right at each other not giving much space, tackles were flying.
"We took a little bit of time to settle down but once we got going we got up a groove and we were off and running."
Westfields opened the scoring.
"I thought it was a great finish. You've got to take your hat off to the lad, he's hit it really sweetly. Sometimes you've got to accept that.
"I though we were poor at the set piece but it was a great finish."
Hereford stepped up a gear after half-time.
"We talked about things at half-time, moving the ball a bit better, trying to use the width of the pitch a little bit more.
"When we got in the final third, delivering a bit earlier than we had done, I thought we were a little bit slow in the first half when we got the ball wide.
"We kept going and got to the stage where we scored the four goals which was all important for us.
"We've been talking about taking chances and killing teams off. The last couple of games I don't think we've done that particularily well but we've stuck to it and we're delighted with the result."
1797 supporters watched the game.
"Absolutely fantastic tonight in terms of the fans. 1700 turning up on a Tuesday night.
"It just goes to show what this club is all about."
