Mills Signs Contract With Hereford FC

John Mills Surrounded By Team-Mates After He Scores Hereford's Winning Goal This Afternoon
It was annouced earlier today that striker John Mills has signed a contract with Hereford FC. He is the first player to do so, but manager Peter Beadle is hopeful that Pablo Haysham may also sign shortly.

"None of the players here are on contracts, they all sign registrations forms which tie them to the club but it then allows other clubs to put seven day notices in for players," Beadle told BN.

"Which means we have no control over them speaking to players after seven days.

"I've been speaking to Pablo and John over the past ten days to convince them to stay and sign a contract which then ties them both to the club just for this season.

"But it means no one can put in a seven days for them. They would have to approach the club officially and they would have to put an offer in for them to get them away from the club.

"Hopefully it will quosh the rumours of everybody going on these tablets and forums and twitter - well I've heard he's going here and I've heard he's going here.

"Well John is not going anywhere for now, he's signed a contract today.

"Pablo is still mulling it over but hopefully it will be positive with him too in the next few days."
