Details About Brocton Next Saturday

Brocton FC have posted some details for 'away' supporters in advance of the visit of Hereford FC next Saturday.

Brocton FC v Hereford FC on 17th October 2015

Brocton welcome all Committee, Players, Staff and Travelling Supporters at the forth- coming game on Saturday 17th October 2015 at the normal kick off time of 3.00pm. The Address of the Ground is Silkmore Lane Sports Ground, Silkmore Lane, Stafford, ST17 4JH

Directions: BY ROAD: From M6 J13 take A449 towards Stafford for 1.5 miles until reaching traffic lights by Esso petrol station. Turn right at lights into Rickescote Road, follow road round over railway bridge to mini- island, at island bear left into Silkmore Lane. At next mini-island take 4th exit for entrance to ground.

BY RAIL: Stafford Station is just over 1 mile from the ground approximately 20/25 minute walk. Buses leave from opposite the Station, no. 74 to Cannock or no 325 to Lichfield in either case get off the bus at the end of Silkmore Lane, ground is 350yds down the lane just off the first mini- island.

We hope that there will be a substantial number of travelling supporters from Hereford and we have made the following specific arrangements for the game.
• Coach Parking; We have capacity on the ground for the team bus only, and have made specific arrangements for the parking of coaches for supporters within 200 yards of the site in Meadow Road Car park. Coaches are can un- load in Silkmore Lane near entrance drive or as directed.
• Car Parking; We also have capacity for parking on site (approx. 120 cars). Cars will be directed to specific parking areas by stewards. (Parking free with admission ticket)
• Food; We have arranged for a mobile burger bar to be located on the ground adjacent to the Grandstand area for the sale of hot and cold food and drinks.
• Alcoholic Drinks: As the club does not have a licenced bar and club house currently on site – Special arrangements have been made for a ‘mobile beer bus’ to be positioned on site within an enclosure for the consumption of alcoholic drinks. A marquee type cover will also be available within the enclosure adjacent the pitch side. Bar will open at 1.00pm and close at 5.00pm.
No Bottles or Cans are allowed to be brought onto the site for consumption around the ground and we ask supporters to use the enclosure area and the arrangement for sale and consumption of alcoholic drink whilst at the ground.
A planning condition does not allow music or instruments to be played on the ground
We are sure the arrangements we have made will be of benefit to supporters of both teams and we are looking forward to this historic match between both clubs.
