Former Hereford United winger Sam Clucas is proving his worth with Hull according to manager Steve Bruce.
Now 25, Clucas moved to Hull from Chestefield for £1.3M. When he left Hereford for Mansfield the fee was just £20K.

"Sam's got a great attitude towards the game, it's terrific. He's been absolutely fantastic for us," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He's the first name on the team-sheet now because you know exactly
what you're going to get. I can go to bed on a Friday night and know
what Sam is going to give me the next day. I couldn't be happier with
him.
"He's earned that respect straight away, which is great for him considering where he's come from in his career.
"When we signed Clucas, he'd just been playing off the front for Chesterfield so the kid can play. He's lively.
"He takes the ball, he runs. He should have scored on Saturday but his goalscoring record is good from midfield areas."
