Cargill Stand To Be Rebranded.

The days of the name Cargill Stand at Edgar Street may be coming to an end.

Hereford FC are understood to be in advanced discussions with Westons Cider which, if finalised, will result in the stand being rebranded.

Originally the stand was known as the Len Weston stand after the former president of Hereford United helped finance the building of it in the early 70's.

Whilst Graham Turner was chairman, it become the Floors-2-Go Stand. That arrangement didn't last long as the company got into financial difficulties. 

Cargill became the sponsor of the stand at the start of the 2008/09 season.

At present all the boards along the top of the Meadow End promote Stowford Press which is a Westons cider.
