Beadle Will Respect Westfields

Westfields are the visitors to Edgar Street this evening for a Midland Football League Cup, also known as the Polymac Packaging League Cup, game, kick-off 7.45pm.

Hereford FC manager Pete Beadle has said he will treat the visit of Westfields with respect.

"We will give Westfields the respect they deserve by putting a team out that will be competitive and a team I think can win the game," he said.

Beadle will make some changes to the team that defeated Quorn 2-0 last Saturday.

Ben Miller, Sirdic Grant, Anthony Robbins and Max Kontic-Coveney are all expected to start.

And should either Sol Wheatley, Nathan Hughes or Nathan Summers be fit enough to take some part in the game, Beadle is likely to use them.

"I not sure Sol will see that game. He did quite a lot of work on Saturday morning but we'll await and see how he reacts to that," Beadle told BN.

"The other two are more doubtful.

"Nathan Summers is probably definitely out. Hughes might have a better chance but we'll see.

"Nathan Hughes has got a little niggle in his hamstring. He had it for a little while it keeps coming and going and we're not sure if it's coming from his back. It's not something he's done when he's been playing.

"Nathan Summers has a really bad dead leg he got in a collision with Dan Lloyd-Weston playing at Hartbury a couple of weeks ago. It was quite a nasty one so he's not quite ready."

Beadle is not expected to start any of the under 18's although several might be on the bench. He told the Fans Forum last Friday that he expected a physical game and therefore was reluctant to use them.

As for Westfields both Mike Tambling and Sam Gwynne are unavailable, and several others are injured.

Tickets for the game are available at the club reception from 10am and cost £5 for Adults, £1 for Juniors. Family tickets are £10.

However Adult tickets purchased after 4pm will cost £7.

As for League games there will be two cash turnstiles open for the Meadow End.
