Jonathan Sandford suggests there may be a case for a new share distribution in Hereford FC.
'It is great news that Rob Crawford is putting £50,000 into HFC to become the fifth founding shareholder.
'I would like to thank Rob for being prepared to make such a fantastic contribution to our club and also pass on my thanks to the board for once again doing what's right for the club, not only by welcoming Rob, but also for making the extension to both the amount of shares that HUST are able to purchase and also the time in which they are able to purchase them.
'Further to that I have been wondering if the club intend to ensure that not only will Rob and HUST have this extra opportunity but also any fans who wish to buy their own shares?
'At the last window the initial allocation was not taken up in it's entirety with 39,000 purchased of the 50,000 made available so all that may be required is the reopening of the window rather than an increase in the number of shares available and even more funds will go into the club which can only be a good thing.
'It's possible that given the shortfall the club may make the assumption that there is no appetite for this but that may not be the case as some fans may not have been in the position to commit to the cost at that time but may well be able to do so now.
'Either way, opening the window would ensure consistency and reaffirm the club's commitment to engage with supporters'.
