Macclesfield say they have satisfied the Conference that they can compete next season.
They were named last weekend by the Non League Paper as a club that was warned about it's future in the division, but have now issued a statement after being - somewhat surprisingly - left out of yesterday's announcements:
The individuals leading the process of taking over Macclesfield Town Football Club Ltd have been in regular contact with representatives of the Conference in recent days to keep them informed of progress.
Payment in full by the Club of its HMRC debt and actions taken by the potential investors before the Conference AGM to demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to meet the Club's outstanding payroll have satisfied the Conference Board that the investors have the ability to sustain the Club going forward.
Further updates will follow.
