He said that 'the first priority to protect the ground'.

Later: 'Hfds Council have confirmed to me that no approach to sell Edgar St/leases. I've urged them to put out a statement ASAP.'

Updated: Councillor Jim Keynon has tweeted 'I will be at plough lane in the morning going through the lease with a fine tooth comb.'
