The Bulls
travel to Welling on Tuesday evening looking for their first away league
victory against The Wings.
Many
improvements have been made at Park
View Road since the days of “The San Siro” Visiting fans are now housed in the seated
East Stand with standing provided on the Danson Park Terrace. Admission is believed to be £15 for adults, £10
for students, £9 for over 60’s and U16’s with children under 12 going
free. There is a £1 premium for a seat
in the East Stand.
HUISA –
Departs from Radford’s at 1.30 pm with a fare of £30 (non-members £32). Seats can be booked through The Club office.
TRAINS –
Welling station is just less than a mile from the ground and is served by
trains from London Victoria
and Charing Cross .
BY CAR – Gloucester , Birdlip, Swindon
to join the M4. Leave the M4 at J4B and
join the M25 anti-clockwise (sign Gatwick
Airport ). Leave the M25 at junction 2 and take the A2
towards Central London (sign London SE &
C, Bexleyheath). At the Danford
interchange leave to your left and take the A221 (sign Dover , Sidcup, Welling). Two more roundabouts
follow in quick succession where you should follow signs for
Bexleyheath/Welling. Continue on the
A221 (Danson Road )
and turn left (traffic lights) onto the A207 (Park View Road ). The ground is on your left after about half a
mile. Distance is about 190 miles and
you should probably allow over four hours given the potential for traffic on
the M25. Postcode for Sat Nav is DA16
1SY.
PARKING –
None at the ground but, allegedly, plenty of street parking.
REFRESHMENTS
– The Welling FC Social Club usually admits visiting fans and there is a Pub
called “Guy Earl of Warwick ”
within 50 yards of the ground on Park
View Road .
A little further, on your right you’ll find the Nags Head with “The New
Cross Turnpike” (Spoons) on the left.
The Elite Fish Bar is just beyond Morrison’s after passing The Nags
Head.
