The Bulls stayed out of the bottom four after a late Luton goal saw Aldershot lose 1-0 at Kenilworth Road. The Shots have one point less than the Bulls but with a 23 goal advantage. Dartford drew 0-0 at Lincoln to move level with the Shots, while Tamworth need nine points for safety currently with just 15 left to play for after a 5-0 loss at Gateshead. Chester beat Hyde 3-2 to move five clear of the relegation zone, while Southport lost 3-1 at Cambridge to stay four points clear.
At the top, Luton's win puts them on 89 points with Cambridge only able to get at best 94. The Hatters could be crowned Champions next Saturday in their televised game. Grimsby are third after beating Kidderminster 1-0, with Gateshead up to fourth and Halifax, 1-0 winners at Nuneaton, fifth. Alfreton drop to sixth after a 2-2 draw with Welling, while Braintree are down to seventh after a 1-0 home loss to Salisbury. Barnet moved back up the table with a 2-1 win over Forest Green, and Wrexham picked up their first win under Kevin Wilkin after a 1-0 home win over Macclesfield.
In League Two, Torquay's fate looks sealed after a 1-0 home loss to Scunthorpe left them 10 points adrift with just 15 points to play for. Northampton won 1-0 at Accrington but stay three points shy of safety after both Portsmouth and Wycombe both won.
