Away fans accommodation at The Racecourse is now provided in part of the upper tier of the seated Yale Stand to one side of the ground (Turnstiles 1-4).  Admission is believed to be £19 for adults, £14 for over 60’s and U21’s, £5 for U16’s and £1 for U11’s.  PLEASE NOTE that U11 tickets should be purchased from the Club Shop behind the Yale Stand before going to the turnstiles.  All other tickets can be paid for in cash at the turnstiles.  Proof of age may be required.

Wrexham FC have suffered their share of financial woes over the years and the recent takeover of the club by The Wrexham Supporters Trust is likely to mean that Bulls’ fans will be sympathetically received.

HUISA – Departs Radford’s at 4.30 pm with a fare of £15 (non-members £17).  Seats can still be booked through The Club office on 08442 761939.

BY CAR – Take the A49 north towards Shrewsbury and at the Garden Centre roundabout at the junction with the A5, take the first exit (sign Oswestry).  As you approach Oswestry, stay on the A5 following signs for Wrexham. From Ruabon the road becomes the A483. Stay on this road, as it is also the Wrexham by-pass. Continue until you reach the Mold (A541) junction. Follow signs for Wrexham Town Centre and the Football Stadium will become visible after some 300 yards. Parking is mainly in the streets although I understand the local school/college is also available. Distance is about 80 miles.  Postcode LL11 2AH.

TRAIN – Wrexham General Station is right next to the ground

ALEHOUSES – The Centenary Bar at the ground does accept visiting supporters.  This can be found close to the away turnstiles behind the Yale Stand.  The Centenary is said to do a mean pie and peas.  It is not known what antics the North Wales Police will undertake so availability of Pubs is subject to their interference.  Leaving the ground and walking towards the town centre you will find the Plas Coch near to Sainsbury’s Petrol Station.  The Oak on High Street is a Camra approved outlet and there are plenty of others around the centre.

CHIPS – Nearest appears to be Les’s Fish Bar in Egerton Street which is a good half a mile from the ground.
