London Bulls Update

March 2014 Newsletter

FUTURE OF LONDON BULLS
We have built an extremely strong relationship with the club over recent years and long may it continue. However, we feel it is now time to begin evaluating how we organise London Bulls going forward:

Do we remain as an official group of the football club? Do we remain non-membership based? Do we affiliate with the Supporters Trust (HUST)?

On the last question we pose, see here:
http://www.hufctrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/HUST-LB.pdf . This is a letter a from Martin Watson, Vice-Chairman of HUST to outgoing LB co-ordinator Nick Vaughan, inviting London Bulls to affiliate with them. This follows recent discussions between London Bull Mitch Stansbury and members of the HUST committee. We have no intention on making a decision regarding this before the end of the season but please do email us your initial views in the meantime. London Bulls will conduct a more comprehensive consultation at the end of the season – which will also focus on such things as fundraising activities and events.
NEW MERCHANSDISE!
London Bull Tim Ward has enlisted the free help of a professional designer to come up with  a LB t-shirt for all you dedicated supporters outhere. Where you wish the profits from the shirt sales to go is up to you  – HUFC directly or HUST! The majority’s stated preference will decide!

The t-shirts will be £21 each (which includes all P&P). This leaves over a decent amount to give in the form of a donation. If interested please could you please e-mail:  hufclbfundraiser@gmail.com the following information:
  • Name and contact email address
  • Size – S, M or L (please note, all t-shirts are unisex – we’re not able to produce any 'Ladies-Fit' unfortunately)
  • Please state where you would like the profits of the t-shirt to go: HUST or HUFC
We are aiming to make a first order-run in the next few weeks.

NEW CO-ORDINATOR
Having started the group in 2010, LB founder Nick Vaughan is standing down as co-ordinator with Adam Peters taking over - effective immediately. Starting as an informal group of 10 people who met in the Morpeth Arms, Westminster, London Bulls has since made significant progress. It has grown to over 130 known supporters, has donated over £2500 to club funds through the organisation of fundraising events and regular sponsorships -  and organises TV screenings of Bulls matches in Central London.
LB SPONSOR ROGER
London Bulls is delighted to announce we are now sponsoring the Kitman, Roger Lloyd. This follows the departure of Josh O'Keefe during the January transfer window. Roger has been one of the few consistent performers during the past few seasons.
