Luton opened up a four point gap at the top of the table after beating Barnet 2-1 in the lunchtime televised game. It was one of only five games to beat the weather, with Cambridge now holding two games in hand on the Hatters. Alfreton consolidated third with a 1-0 win over Wrexham, their fifth successive win.
Grimsby are five points behind them in fourth after a stormy 1-1 draw with Lincoln, while Halifax are fifth following their 3-3 draw with Gateshead in which they had led 3-1. At the bottom, Hyde lost 3-0 at home to Macclesfield to remain without a win.
