Mansfield boss Paul Cox says that Sam Clucas may return to first team action before the transfer window closes.
On the day Bulls chairman David Keyte put out a call in mid-December to raise funds, Clucas was reported to be set for eight weeks on the sidelines. Today, in his weekly press conference, Cox told reporters that the winger was 'seven to ten days away' from a return - three weeks ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, Kidderminster have signed Wrexham forward Adrian Cieslewicz to replace the departed Joe Lolley. The 23 year old has started only four league games for the Dragons this season, making a further 14 appearances from the bench. He signs for the Harriers for an undisclosed fee.
Boss Andy Thorn has also signed Argentinian midfielder Santiago Aloi. The 26 year old had a spell at Watford earlier in his career, and has racked up recent trials with Falkirk and MK Dons.
In other news, former Bull Marlon Jackson is one of five players to have their contracts settled up at Bury. The 23 year old striker last played for the Shakers three months ago, before a six game loan spell at Lincoln.
