Results Round-Up


Cambridge's lead at the top of the table is cut to a single point after their loss at Edgar Street and Luton's 4-2 win over Gateshead. The Hatters are seven points clear of third place Grimsby, who beat Kidderminster on Thursday night. Alfreton are fourth after a 2-1 home win over Dartford, with Barnet fifth with a 1-0 win at Hyde. Halifax beat Forest Green 1-0 to move within two points of the Bees.

At the bottom, Hyde are now 19 points short of safety and 15 behind 23rd place Dartford. Aldershot pulled clear of the bottom four with a 6-0 home win over 22nd place Tamworth, while Chester moved above the Lambs with a 3-3 draw at home to Lincoln. Southport are down to 20th after a 1-1 draw at Salisbury, while Woking stay above the Bulls after a 2-0 win at Nuneaton. The Cards are level on points with Macclesfield, whose game at Braintree was postponed, and Wrexham, who drew 1-1 at Welling.
