Halifax will entertain the Bulls on Saturday looking to avenge one or two past failures.
The Shaymen played their last Football League match against the Bulls in 1993, having already been relegated the week before, and lost the 2006 Conference play-off final at Leicester - a defeat that would ultimately see the old Halifax Town AFC club run out of business.
The Bulls have not faced the reformed FC Halifax side, but will travel to the familiar - if slightly redeveloped - Shay, having not faced the Shaymen since 2006.
The Shay has been a fortress so far this season. They have recorded five wins out of five, beating promotion contenders Wrexham and Barnet before thumping Grimsby 4-0 last night to move to the edge of the play-off zone. Manager Neil Aspin praised his side's work rate in the wake of the Grimsby win, and called on fans to turn out in force to back the side.
They will face the Bulls without teenage winger Adam Smith, who will serve a one match ban for five yellow cards, but will welcome back three more players from suspension.
Kevin Holsgrove, Josh Wilson, and Lois Maynard will all return after red card bans, with the Shaymen having already had five players sent off in their nine games so far.
