The Bulls kick off the 2013/14 Conference campaign with a home match against Braintree.
The two sides met for the first time last season, with the Iron failing to score in either match. The Bulls won 2-0 at the Amlin Stadium in February, including a goal from Chris Sharp, after an earlier goalless draw. Current Bull Dan Walker was on loan at Braintree for the second match.
The Bulls are expected to give competitive debuts to a string of players in Saturday's game. Rhys Evans, Daniel Leadbitter, Danny Pilkington, Dan Walker, Michael Rankine, and Sam Smith are all in contention to start the game. Midfielder Josh O'Keefe scored the last Bulls goal of last season, and is 8/1 joint favourite to open the scoring on Saturday.
Braintree travel to Edgar Street seeking a first goal against the Bulls. Strikers Dan Holman and Sean Marks, who scored 23 times between them last season, remain with the club and are joined by former Ebbsfleet striker Liam Enver-Marum, who netted 11 times for the Fleet last term. Manager Alan Devonshire has left his signings til the last minute, signing five of his six new arrivals in the past week.
