Pair Of Ex-Bulls Expected To Feature For Lambs

Two ex-Bulls are expected to feature for Tamworth when they visit Edgar Street on Saturday.

Tony Capaldi and Richard Peniket are one half of the ex-Bulls contingent at The Lamb, with the injured Jordan Rose and third choice stopper Jose Veiga yet to feature this season.

Former N.Ireland international Capaldi made his senior debut with the Bulls in 2001 on loan from Birmingham before going on to have five seasons as a regular in the Championship for Plymouth and Cardiff. He joined the Lambs in the summer and has been a regular in the left back role so far.

Peniket signed for the Lambs in the summer after being released from Fulham, but is yet to score for them in a competitive game after netting several times in pre-season. He has been partnered up front by Conference veteran Justin Richards, who is also yet to score this term.

Meanwhile ex-Bull Nicky Law says his Alfreton side, who the Bulls visit on Monday, are the 'best group of players this club has ever had'. The Reds have netted three times in each of their last two games with veterans John McGrath and Chris Westwood adding vast experience to their squad.
