News Round-Up

Paulton Rovers netted a 4-0 home win over Tiverton Town in their Southern League game last night without loan Bull Jake Harris, who had played for the Bulls in their friendly with Bristol Rovers yesterday. Ex-Bull Sam Malsom lined up for Tiverton, who also featured former trialist forward Dan Smith. Youth keeper Kyle Moore played the full game as Taunton drew 2-2 with Yate Town. Moore saved his side the point in tipping a late dipping drive over the bar.

Cambridge boss Richard Money is looking to bring in another defender ahead of the weekend matches with a trio of defenders injured. Rory McAuley damaged an ankle at the weekend, with Money calling the injury 'significant', to join Tom Bonner and Josh Coulson on the physio table. Chester boss Neil Young is also looking for a defender to bolster his fragile backline, while also seeking two wingers and a forward.

Worcester lost 2-1 at Gloucester in last night's game, which was held up for 10 minutes after a mass brawl between the two sides. Each side had a man sent off for a feisty tussle before the pair resumed hostilities as they left the pitch, sparking the delay. The game only resumed after the referee had the opposing managers speak to their players.

Macclesfield have allowed defender Craig Braham-Barrett to join Cheltenham on a permanent basis. The full back originally joined the League Two strugglers on loan before the start of the season. Chris Carruthers will have a new manager at Corby Town after boss Chris Plummer quit after their 6-0 loss to Hemel Hempstead last night. They also lost their opening game 3-0.

Wrexham have received international clearance for ex-Bull winger Joe Anyinsah and he will be available for the weekend pair of matches. Gateshead have agreed a deal with Newcastle, offering season ticket holders and members of the Premier League side £5 discount on admission for Conference games.

Coventry's Supporters Trust are urging fans to attend a Ladies match at the Ricoh Arena rather than the club's second 'home' game in Northampton. The game, against Lewes, has been switched from the Ladies' usual home in Bedworth where they attract a minimal attendance.
