News Round-Up


Barnet have loaned out two of their squad players. George Sykes and Jamal Lowe have joined Bishop's Stortford and Hitchin Town respectively. Kidderminster have allowed defender Tyrone Williams to join Sutton Coldfield Town on loan. The teenager signed his first pro deal in the summer.

Former Bulls winger Marley Watkins is still to make his Inverness debut due to an ankle injury. The 22 year old had to sit out an u20 match with Celtic in midweek due to the problem, and will remain sidelined for the weekend SPL game. Farnborough say they have had to lodge a £100,000 bond with the Conference, paid by a sponsor, to ensure their place in Conf South this season after exiting Administration.

Halifax have loaned striker Dale Johnson to Barrow for an initial month. The 28 year old has not played a competitive game since December due to injury. Accrington boss James Beattie is reported to have paid a five figure tax bill out of his own pocket to stop the club collecting a transfer embargo. The League Two side is said to have promised to pay him back.

Former Bull Brian Smikle has joined Altrincham for the coming season. The ex-Cheltenham winger started only six Conference games for the Bulls last season. Former Bulls youth teamer Joe Tumulty has joined Southern League side Chippenham Town. The 18 year old had been trialling with Gloucester.

Former Bulls winger Tristan Plummer has become the second ex-Bull to join Weston Super Mare. The 23 year old joins Lewis Feeley at the club ahead of their start to the season tomorrow. Woking have signed Colchester striker Freddie Ladapo on a month long loan deal. The 20 year old made four sub appearances for the League One side last term along with a couple of loan spells in Conf South.

Aldershot have released winger Kieron Cadogan by mutual consent. The former Crystal Palace trainee only signed an 18 month deal in January after impressing in a loan spell. Welling have signed Sutton forward Harry Beautyman for an undisclosed fee. The 21 year old was part of the England C squad that played Bermuda in the summer.

Morecambe are reported to have sold just four advance tickets for their match at Portsmouth's Fratton Park tomorrow. The home side will have a slight advantage of numbers, having sold 12,433 home tickets so far.
