Martin Foyle With The Players After Tuesday's Win at Chester |
Despite taking four points from their first two games, the Hereford United manager, Martin Foyle, has asked supporters to have patience with the players this season. Many of them are still learning the game.
"People have got to realise it won't be the high calibre that they have been used to, like two or three years ago," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"It's a completely different Hereford United football club now.
"It's going to be hard, it's going to be tough.
"I keep saying to everybody that the club is more important than any individual.
"So work to be done, work in progress but, hopefully, we can start heading in the right direction."
Meanwhile Sam Smith is a slight doubt for tomorrow's game at Hyde. He has a groin strain. Rob Purdie took a knock at Chester last Tuesday but is expected to be available.
