Barnet are trialling goalkeeper Nick Jupp. The 24 year old spent the last two seasons with St Albans Town, but was released earlier in the summer. Luton have ended their interest in trialist striker Mark Stewart, midfielder Aman Verma, and defender Graham Hutchison. Boss John Still says he is not taking on any further trialists at the moment.
Macclesfield defender Ryan Jackson is set for a move to Newport. The England C man, 22, played for the Exiles in a friendly at the weekend. Cambridge have signed Alfreton forward Nathan Arnold on a two year deal. The 24 year old had been trialling with Mansfield but was snapped up by the U's following their decision not to offer terms.
Tamworth midfielder Lee Hendrie, who announced his retirement at the end of last season, now says he wants to carry on playing. The 36 year old is back in training with the Lambs and hopes to prove he is fit enough to continue. Former Bulls keeper Jose Veiga is on trial with Worcester. Now 36, Veiga made only one appearance for the Bulls in the 08/09 season.
