Gateshead have opted to release trialist Lee Bullock as they do not have the budget to sign him after signing fellow midfielder Josh Walker yesterday. Cambridge have signed goalkeeper Chris Maxwell on loan from Fleetwood until January. The 22 year old had a 17 game loan spell at Wrexham last season. The U's have also allowed defender Scott Garner to join Boston until January on loan.
Forest Green have signed midfielder Marcus Kelly after a trial. The former Tamworth man has spent the last seven seasons in the Conference. Aldershot are meeting with Conference officials at the Recreation Ground this lunchtime to discuss their sale to a consortium of directors. The club do not necessarily expect a decision today on whether the deal will be accepted.
Veteran defender Nick Fenton has rejected the offer of a contract from Chester. The 33 year old left Morecambe due to their budget cuts earlier in the summer, but has rejected a deal with the Conference newcomers.
