York boss Nigel Worthington has confirmed an interest in Bulls striker Ryan Bowman.
He told the local press: “He’s a player we have got our eye on, but so have quite a few other clubs. He’s got good energy and has a presence with his size.
“He scored 15 league goals last season so he has an eye for a goal too. If you can get a couple of strikers capable of scoring 15 goals and everybody else adds to that then you are doing all right.”
The Minstermen have released three strikers this summer, leaving them short of forward options for the coming season, and have also lost the services of former Kidderminster winger Matty Blair.
