Former Bulls winger Lionel Ainsworth has been transfer listed by Rotherham.
The former Derby trainee is midway through a two year deal at the New York Stadium, but manager Steve Evans has deemed him as being one of four players surplus to requirements following their promotion to League One. Ainsworth started only eight League games for the Millers, making eight further sub appearances, and spent two months on loan at Aldershot.
Since his second spell at Edgar Street, where he scored three times in seven games, which ended in early 2009 the 25 year old has played for six different sides.
Meanwhile, former Bulls target Richard Brodie has signed for Gateshead on a one year deal. The Crawley striker had a brief spell training at Edgar Street towards the end of the season before a trial at Hartlepool, but has now signed for his hometown club.
