There is just one month left of the standard Conference season, with the Bulls having nine games left to play.
With the competition insistent that all games are completed by April 20th, the Bulls are to play every midweek to complete their fixture list. Of the nine games remaining, five are at Edgar Street.
The prospect of a sub-1000 attendance or two from those games would not be surprising to most with little left to play for. The Bulls recorded just 867 for the Sunday afternoon Conference visit of Kingstonian in April 2001, and face Dartford on Tuesday night with an England international on ITV competing for attention.
With just a month left, attention turns to who is likely to join the Conference next season. In Conf North, Chester are 16 points clear at the top of the table and are likely to go up as champions. Six other sides are vying for the play-off spots, with former Conference stalwarts Altrincham and Halifax amongst the mix. Yorkshire side Guiseley, who had added former Bulls loanee Phil Marsh to their ranks in recent weeks, are clear in second place and likely favourites for the second promotion spot.
In Conf South Welling, the Bulls' first Conference opponents, lead the table by six points from Salisbury. Dover and Chelmsford are joined in the play-off spots by unfancied Weston-Super-Mare with big spending Eastleigh four points behind.
