The Bulls entertain Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night in a FA Cup Second Round Replay.
The two sides drew 1-1 last Monday to set up the replay, extending the Bulls' unbeaten run in the head-to-head to ten games. The last three have all been draws, with Tuesday's game set to go to extra time and penalties if the scores remain level. The game is the first FA Cup replay between the sides since 1949, when a third game on neutral ground was needed to seperate the sides after a 1-1 draw was followed by a 2-2 draw. A Tommy Best hat-trick helped the Bulls into the next round with a 4-2 win in the third game.
The Bulls are expected to welcome Sam Clucas back to their ranks, with recent signing Simon Hackney not eligible for the match. The winger played for Halifax during their FA Cup tie with Chester, netting a spectacular volley, and will not take part although he should be eligible for the FA Trophy game at the weekend. Joe Heath, with four bookings to his name, also sat out Friday's win at Barrow and is expected to return to the starting XI in what is expected to be the same XI that started the original match.
Cheltenham boss Mark Yates also rested two of his players on four bookings at the weekend, before out of favour striker Daryl Duffy earned the Robins a late win over Northampton on Saturday. The Robins were two goals down inside 14 minutes but had levelled the match before the half hour mark, with boss Yates admitted he was fearing a tanking after their bad start.
