Nuneaton have signed Leicester keeper Adam Smith on loan for an initial month. The 20 year old has previous loan experience with Chesterfield and Lincoln and comes in as cover with first choice Neil Collett out until the end of the year. Kettering have been given seven days to 'satisfy certain conditions' placed on it by the Southern League. Saturday's game with St Neots Town has been postponed.

Cambridge have loaned young defender Blaine Hudson to Cambridge CRC for an initial month. The 20 year old has made three first team appearances for the U's this season. Gateshead have put winger James Marwood up for loan. The 22 year old has started only once this season, making ten further appearances from the bench.

Stockport have extended the contract of recent signing Matt Mainwaring to the end of the year. The 22 year old initially signed on non-contract terms six weeks ago. Wrexham are to sign Swansea youngster Daniel Alfei until January. The Welsh u21 defender played six times on loan at the Racecourse last season, but will not be eligible for their FA Cup games.

Kidderminster are to convert around £700,000 in Directors loans into shares in the club to avoid rules to be brought in by the Conference largely banning such loans. Llanelli manager Andy Legg has blasted the Welsh FA after he and two of his players had fines increased after they asked for time to pay as none of them had been paid by the club. The trio were fined £100 and banned for two games after being sent off, but it was increased by 50% when they asked for a delay to payment.

Accrington manager Paul Cook is set to become the new boss at Chesterfield after the two sides agreed a compensation deal. Cook, 45, only took charge at the Crown Ground in February, winning only eight of 33 games in charge. Ebbsfleet have extended the loan of Grimsby winger Louie Soares for a second month. The 27 year old was not eligible for the Fleet's FA Cup win over Woking but has been given permission to face Carlisle now the Mariners are out of the competition.

Gateshead have signed York midfielder Lee Bullock on loan for an initial month. The former Bradford man, 31, has made only one start for the Minstermen since signing from the Bantams in the summer. Southport have loaned striker Michael Bakare to Droylsden for an initial month. The former Macclesfield man, a former Bulls target, is yet to score in 12 appearances for the Sandgrounders.
