The football website of Conference sponsors BlueSq is reporting that the Bulls have signed midfielder Josh O'Keefe.
The 6ft 3in free agent, 23, started his career with Blackburn before spells with Walsall and Lincoln, ending last season on a short term deal with Southport.
Neither the club's official website, nor any of the usual local sources, are yet to confirm the deal.
UPDATED 7pm: The official site has confirmed the signing.
"I am delighted that Josh has signed for us until Christmas time," said manager Martin Foyle.
"He's a 6'2" midfielder with an eye for goal that will add competition for players in the middle of the park."
O'Keefe later tweeted:
