Only A Win Will Do For Bulls

This afternoon Hereford United will play what is probably their most important game for 15 seasons. They will be up for this game and hopefully will take all three points but, even then, what League they play in next season will depend on the Barnet result at Burton.

It's a horrible position for the directors, management team, players and supporters to be in,  knowing their fate may lie elsewhere and there's nothing they can do about it even if they win.

A sell-out gate is expected this afternoon with the best part of 4,000 fans backing the Bulls.  Many will have travelled long distances in the hope their team will not be relegated. Others will have changed plans for today just to be at Edgar Street.

All eyes will be on the eleven players in the Hereford shirts on the pitch and the five on the bench. They will be the most important people in the stadium this afternoon.

On paper Torquay will be hard to defeat. But so were Crawley meant to be last Saturday and look what happened.

The Hereford players will have to be at their best and hope the pressure on Torquay to obtain automatic promotion proves too much for them.

And then, that Burton contain Barnet.

It's a big ask but it can be done.

Meanwhile supporters who have 'booked' tickets for the game are asked to collect them as soon as they can, preferably this morning. The club are keen to avoid delays close to the start of the game as kick-off can not be delayed.
