2012/2013 Season Ticket Prices Announced

Hereford United have today released details of next season's season ticket prices along with notice of a proposed increase to "pay on the day" prices.

The gate price is to rise to £16 for a terrace price and £18 for a seat in the stands, which is more in line with current League 2 prices and many Conference Clubs.   However, those fans that held a season ticket this season will actually be able to renew for less than the cost of a current season ticket if they take advantage of the early bird discount.

As a simple example, Bulls News has taken a look at the comparative terrace cost of paying on the gate to having a ST on the easy payment scheme.

A 23-match League season at the new turnstile price will cost £368 over the nine-month playing season…an average of £40.89 per month.

Without the early bird discount a returning adult terrace season ticket should cost no more than £29 a month over the ten-month payment period.

Someone buying a ST without the renewal discount should pay no more than £30 per month over ten months showing a saving (even with interest) of nearly £70.  Interestingly, a fan that attended every League game this season at the £14 price would have paid a total of £322, which is more than next season's ST price.

Clearly, the answer for finance conscious fans is to sign up for the easy payment scheme and reduce their costs.

The Club have included a number of attractive deals for families and youngsters as well as retaining packages for half-season tickets, 6 and 12 game deals and reducing the upper age for concession tickets to 60 (Yeh).

Full details of the pricing structures are available on the Official Site (link at the side of this page) and application forms for tickets and the easy payment scheme will be available from the ground from tomorrow.

At last we'll be able to charge visiting fans £16 to sit in the rain!
