Results Round-Up

The Bulls are just a solitary point from the foot of the League Two table after last night's results. Dagenham are bottom after they were beaten 4-0 by Swindon with only ten men after striker Josh Scott was dismissed. Northampton beat Bristol Rovers 3-2, after being 3-0 up, to move level on points with the Daggers, with the Bulls just a point ahead. Plymouth are above the Bulls on goal difference after beating Wimbledon 2-1, with Barnet and Macclesfield two points better off. The Bees lost 3-1 at Gillingham after initially taking the lead. Bradford are five points clear of the bottom two after a 1-1 draw with Accrington, and the Wombles are only seven clear.

At the top, Swindon are six points clear after their win with second placed Cheltenham losing 3-1 at Morecambe. The Shrimps face the Bulls on Saturday with last night's attendance of 1,207 a new record low for their League history. Shrewsbury came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Oxford to hold fourth after Torquay drew level on points with a 1-0 win over Aldershot, ending the Shots club record six match winning run. Oxford hold the last play-off place by a point from Gillingham, with Port Vale - yet to enter Administration - a point further behind after their 3-0 win over hapless Burton.

In the Conference Fleetwood opened an eight point lead from Wrexham with a 2-1 win over Grimsby, with the Dragons holding two games in hand. Result of the night was at Alfreton where the part-timers, who only had 14 fit players for the game, demolished Stockport 6-1. The result puts Darlington four points adrift in the drop zone. Loan Bull Sean Canham scored Bath's goal in their 1-0 win at Barrow, but they remain 11 points short of safety.
