Swindon Town football Club has been fined £1000 after a brawl in the match against Crawley last Tuesday.
The charge follows a first-half incident when Robins forward Billy Bodin was tripped by Crawley's Claude Davis, who was subsequently booked. Swindon players then surrounded the referee to try and get Davis sent off.
"Yesterday we received a charge of £1,000 because after Billy Bodin was fouled my players went around the referee for one second," manager Paolo di Canio told BBC Wiltshire.
"They deserve a fair play award for the way they behaved.
"I thought we had more honest judgement in English football. I changed country because I thought I would find a better situation but here, at the moment, it is worse than Italy."
Di Canio was sitting in the stands when the incident happened. He is currently serving a two match ban and is expected to be in the stands at Edgar Street this coming Saturday when Hereford play Swindon.
