Manset staying at Reading

Former Hereford United striker Mathieu Manset is staying at Reading for the time being. A second offer for him from Crawley has been turned down.

Crawley boss Steve Evans said: “We made a written offer for Mathieu Manset at Reading, but we could not agree a fee with them.

“I will add that Reading conducted their business very professionally indeed.”

Manset has only scored three goals this season to date.
